What it does about no-shows.
- Two reminders that actually land. A confirmation a day or two out, a short nudge a couple hours before: the timing that turns a forgotten appointment into a kept one.
- A deposit policy you aim, not spray. Require a deposit from everyone, no one, or (the sweet spot) only the clients who've already no-showed enough times. Your good clients never feel it.
- It remembers who flakes. Every no-show and late cancel is tracked per client, so the deposit decision is data, not a guilt call you have to make in the moment.
- Your booking system stays. It rides alongside Vagaro, Square, or a paper book. It doesn't replace what you already use.
- Your voice, your link. Every message template is yours to edit, and the deposit link is whatever you already take money with: Stripe, Square, Venmo, card-on-file.
- Own it: yours forever, no subscription required. Real Python source, on your machine. Configure it for your own clients and even resell it. No per-seat fee, ever.

Repeat-offender policy
Require a deposit only from clients who keep no-showing. The kit tracks each client's history for you.
Email or SMS
SMTP for email, Twilio for text: the same Twilio number the Missed-Call kit uses, if you have it. US texting needs A2P 10DLC registration with Twilio. Approval can take a few days to a few weeks, and Twilio charges a one-time fee plus a small monthly fee for it. The README walks you through it.
A few commands
`init` makes it yours, `book` logs an appointment, `run-due` sends what's due, `clients` shows who flakes.
Never in a file
On a Mac, credentials live in the keychain; elsewhere, in an environment variable. Never a plaintext file. The whole system is auditable in a terminal.
One command and it’s your business, not ours.
The kit ships with a blank template. Run init with your business name and it writes your own config. Every message now says your name, on your channel, with your deposit link. Nothing points back to this shop. If you set up tools for other businesses, it’s yours to configure per client and charge for.
